Privacy Policy

• Browsing the site. You can browse Beatlime without creating an account. Like most websites, our hosting provider and basic analytics tools may record technical data such as your device type, browser, approximate location (city level), pages visited and time of visit. We use it to keep the site running and to understand how it is used.
• Messages to us. If you message us (for example through the WhatsApp link, email, or the "List your venue" form), we receive the details you give us, such as your name, phone number or email, and your message.
• Venue information. For venues we list, we collect business information (name, address, cuisine, opening hours, event schedules, menu, photos) and a contact person's name and phone number. The contact details are used only to confirm listings and are never shown on the site.
• Accounts (if and when we add them). If we later let users sign in to rate events, we will collect the name and email shared by your Google account and the ratings or comments you post. We will update this policy before we do.
• Cookies. The site may use cookies or similar technology to keep you signed in (for administrators) and to remember simple settings. You can block cookies in your browser, though parts of the site may not work.

To show and update event listings; to confirm details with venues; to reply to your messages; to keep the site secure and working; to understand and improve how Beatlime is used; and to meet legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your information to send marketing messages unless you ask us to.

Only with service providers that help us run the site (such as web hosting, the database, and analytics), who may process data on our behalf; and with authorities if the law requires. Information a venue gives us for listing is shown publicly on the site, except the private contact details mentioned above.

Data may be stored on servers of our hosting providers, which may be located outside India. We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above, or as the law requires. Messages and enquiries are kept for as long as needed to handle them.

We use reasonable measures to protect information, including restricted access to our admin area. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You may ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, by writing to beatlime1@gmail.com. Venues may ask us to correct or remove their listing at any time. We will respond within a reasonable time and as the law, including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, requires.

Beatlime is not meant for people under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version. Significant changes will be shown on the site.
